Grandchild no.6!
Hot on the heels of Lubin came Andrew and Deb's baby, born on 12th November, weighing in at 6lb 10 oz. No name yet, but it was unexpectedly a little girl.
On the anniversary of our engagement we visited Tyntesfield - a very fine example of a 19th century country house. Restoration work continues as visitors go round the house, which makes it all the more interesting.
Tyntesfield has a huge kitchen garden including several gigantic greenhouses. They did well with their pumpkins this year...

Kilve
I took these pictures a couple of months ago at Kilve, where the Quantock Hills reach the Bristol Channel. The limestone beach there isn't much use for bathers, but is fascinating to look at. Click on the pictures to enlarge.
